I prefer the Miata. (Flame suit on)
There were also four 500 Abarth’s that I couldn’t drive and 3 Alfa Romeo 4C’s. Lastly, the salesman looked like he was from Pawn Stars and wasn’t a friendly fellow

Why?

It's been a long time since I've test driven something just to drive it. I should scare my wife, test drive one and swing by the house.

Your handle reminded me of a car that lives nearby. It’s a newish subie legacy sedan with the license plate “VTEC YO”. If I can ever get a photo I will.

the engine is “meh (not as responsive as I would prefer)“ in the city/suburb area i was driving in, steering feels more percise in the Miata, I have a better field of view in the Miata as well.
Also, but more due to personal taste, I don’t like the long hood and I’m not sold on the look

Fiat gave me a $50 gift card for this

How is the non-abarth exhaust though? I love my roommates 500 abarth‘s sound and just want that in a RWD chassis.

Forgettable, I did hear turbo noises but it’s not the screaming death gargle of a 500 abarth

is it any bigger inside that the Miata? (I agree about the “long” hood and nose...)

Felt the same, if there is any difference it is not noticeable

Thats disappointing. A muffler delete or exhaust dump would fix that though.

They’re the exact same on the inside.

In light of this post, I just looked up the pricing of the Fiata in Canada... the base model starts at $33.5K (before taxes and fees)... goddammit Canada...
